Here are some steps with which you can easily erase or remove gel nail polish.

What You Need:

  • Cotton balls or pads
  • Acetone (nail polish remover with acetone)
  • Aluminum foil
  • Nail file
  • Orange stick or toothpick
  • Lotion or cuticle oil

Steps:

Prepare Your Nails:

Start with gently rubbing the shiny top part of the nails with the help of nail file. This step helps nail polish remover to work better.But be careful about your nail to not scratched them.

Prepare Cotton and Foil:

Take some cotton balls or pads and cut them according to your nails size. Then, cut aluminum foil into pieces which can easily wrap around your fingers. Soak the small cotton pieces in acetone until they are wet.

Soak Your Nails:

Place a wet piece of cotton on each of your nail.Wrap all your fingers with aluminum foil(which I told you to cut)this will not let cotton leave its place.Leave it on for 15-20 minutes to do his work.

Remove the Polish:

After 20 minutes,remove the foil and cotton. Once you take off the foil and cotton, the gel polish might feel soft.Remove it from your nails with the help of a toothpick or an orange stick.

Moisturize Your Nails

After removing all nail polish wash your hands and apply lotion to your hands nails. Due to this step your nails will be hydrated throughout the day.
